This is mainly for those students are economically backward and want to continue their studies without any worries. Applicants who want to fulfill their education in India in private institute or in any government college. LIC scholarship also covers vocational, technical in Industrial Training Institutes or in Industrial Training Centers which are affiliated with National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in graduation level.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Main Aims
The scholarship will be offers to the entire course and Rs. 10, 000 per anum will be awarded, and the entire amount will be through cheque, scholarship will be monthly bases and monthly Rs. 1000 will be given to students. Applicants must know that after getting a scholarship they must renewed for next season. For B.A and B.COM students must scored 50% and for others course minimum of 50% students must score.

- The applicants who are passed out from 12th and are appearing and want to continue their higher education are eligible
- The applicants who are looking to pursue higher education in medicine, engineering or graduation/ diploma in any course
- For vocational course students can also apply LIC through government but college and institutes must be recognized by center government
- For 1st category should have minimum of 60% in 12th
- Income of the applicant’s parents should not exceed more than Rs. 1 lakh
- Applicants should have minimum of 60% marks in 10th for 2nd category
- Most of all students’ family income must be low, as scholarship will be offers to those students whose family income is low.
